Altera Megafunction Cores
CAST is an active member of the Altera Megafunction Partners Program
(AMPP).
We
offer gate-level netlists optimized for implementation with Altera programmable
logic devices such as the MAX7000, FLEX 6000, FLEX 8000,
FLEX 10K, APEX II, APEX 20K, ACEX, Stratix, and Cyclone
CPLDs.
The deliverables typically include specifications, synthesis scripts,
test benches, test vectors, and expected results, as appropriate. The
pricing and licensing details vary; please contact
us to discuss your needs and get a specific quote.
If
you'd like to evaluate our megafunction cores before purchasing them,
take advantage of the OpenCore feature available with Altera software.
OpenCore evaluation allows you to instantiate, compile, and simulate a
function to verify its size and performance before deciding to license
it. To use it, first complete our
Altera OpenCore evaluation request form, and we will get back to you
with instructions.
Altera's
AMPP
Approval program qualifies a core against their own rigorous sales
and engineering standards. This testing includes ensuring flawless implementation
through Altera's suite of internal and third-party EDA tools, as well
as the availability of accurate and complete technical documentation.
Our cores are submitted to the new qualitication process, and have received
the "AMPP Stamp" of approval.
Altera's
I-Tested
program certifies that a core has met the company's standards for
interoperability. Rigorous testing in an Altera evaluation board and other
measures help ensure the core works correctly in a system environment.
See the individual core pages (choose from the menu in the left column)
for Altera PDF datasheets and implementation results for each of our currently-available
Altera cores. If you're interested in Altera versions of CAST cores that
do not report Altera results, please contact
us.
