CAST @ DAC 04
Our tenth year exhibiting at DAC promises to be the best ever for serious
users of IP cores. We'll be showing our line of 100
IP cores,
running demos of our popular FireWire and JPEG/JPEG
2000 cores,
and featuring two new joint solutions:
- Combining our IP cores with the exciting tools from Carbon
Design Systems gives you system-level HW/SW validation that's dramatically faster
than simulation.
- A new package makes USB-OTG easier by combining our CUSB2-OTG
core with the proven PHY from Innovative
Semiconductors, Inc. See more on this below.
You can also find out about our new Smart
Card Reader core, and get a
preview of the new IP products we'll be delivering later this year.
As you walk the DAC floor, you're likely to see CAST cores in
use by other vendors as well, including an interesting R80515 verification
demonstration in the Lighthouse
Design Automation booth.
We're proud and pretty excited to be marking CAST's tenth year at DAC.
More important to you, though, is that we've spent ten tough but
successful years developing and supporting real-world IP products.
Who else knows better how to deliver IP that works?

DAC News:
CAST and Innovative Semiconductors
Combine IP for Integrated
USB-OTG Solution
Next week we're announcing a
relationship with Innovative Semiconductors, Inc. that will make
it easier for designers building USB 2.0 On the Go into
their products.
Together we're offering a new package of CAST's CUSB2-OTG core
with the Innovative SL210
USB 2.0 OTG mixed signal PHY hard macro
core. This gives you the functionality of CAST’s host/device
controller core and the silicon-proven mixed-signal circuitry of
Innovative’s physical layer transceiver together in a tested,
ready-to-implement configuration.
Watch for more news about this package coming soon, and if you're
at DAC stop by to see the CAST/ISI demo in our booth.

Give us a call (201/391-8300) or email if
you'd like a private meeting at DAC, or just to learn more about
our new cores, and about our upcoming plans.
