NewsCAST Partners with The LogicWorks for IP Core Solutions

October 21, 2002, Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey — Semiconductor intellectual property (IP) provider CAST, Inc. today announced the signing of a new consulting agreement with IP solutions experts The LogicWorks. Under this agreement, The LogicWorks will identify and qualify potential matches for CAST's broad line of IP cores with system on chip (SoC) and other development projects at electronic products producers throughout the United States.

"Jon Atwood and The LogicWorks are dedicated to helping designers find the best possible IP solution for their particular project, and we believe that CAST can provide that solution for a great many companies," said Bill Finch, vice president of sales for CAST.

“Our work with design houses struggling to reap the benefits of IP-based design shows the need for a vendor like CAST," said Jon Atwood, president of The Logicworks. "Designers look to us for the right IP, the related infrastructure, and the assistance to make it all work. CAST goes a long way by providing a wide range of high-quality, cost-effective cores, with the support and technical know-how to back them up."
